When you pick up your new USB-C-equipped MacBook on April 10, rest assured that soon (sometime this summer) you’ll be able to pick up a variety of charge and sync cables for it from Belkin.
The company announced a flock of cables (not to be confused with A Flock of Seagulls) today, all helping MacBook fans to connect to existing and future devices. Belkin says that the cables will be available for between US$19.95 and $29.95. There’s also a USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet adapter listed with no suggested pricing. The details from Belkin are as follows:
- Transfer power and data between new systems and devices with USB-C ports
- Supports USB 3.1 Gen2 data speeds up to 10 Gbps
- Charge USB-C systems and devices with up to 20 volts at up to 3 amps (60 watts maximum power throughput)
- Transfer power and data between existing systems with USB-A ports and new devices with USB-C ports
- Charge USB-C systems and devices with 5 volts at up to 3 amps (15 watts maximum power output)
- Also supports USB 2.0 data speeds
USB-A to USB-C Cable
- Transfer power and data between existing systems with USB-A ports and new devices with USB-C ports
- Supports USB 3.1 Gen2 data speeds up to 10 Gbps
- Charge USB-C systems and devices with 5 volts at up to 3 amps (15 watts maximum power output)
USB-C to Micro USB-B Charge Cable
