The answer is no; instead, the site has been designed with a responsive theme that changes depending on the device it is being viewed on. If it’s an iPhone or iPad, it scales images and moves text around to fit the device. Likewise, on a desktop or laptop, you’ll see the full-width site.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a way to just tap an Apple World Today button on your iPhone or iPad to go straight to the site? That’s why Apple has a feature for adding a icon to your iOS home screen. To do this, just launch Safari on your iOS device, point your browser to AppleWorld.Today. Once the page has loaded and you’re sure you are on the home page (you can tap the page title to go back home), tap the Share button in Safari — it looks like a square with an arrow pointing up out of it.. One of the choices will be “Add to Home Screen”. Tap that button to view a small dialog that says that you’ll be adding an icon to your home screen. With a tap you will have the Apple World Today logo as a button on your home screen. Sweet, huh? Now you’re never more than one tap away from AWT.
