Wingtech Technology back in Apple’s graces, will be a manufacturer of the new MacBook Air

Wingtech Technology has won orders to produce the 2022 MacBook Air along with Quanta Computer and Foxconn, reports DigiTimes Asia

Wingtech is based in China. It’s main business is semiconductor IDM, imaging module and communication product integration. Previously, the company has fallen out of Apple’s graces due to poor quality manufacturing, according to DigiTimes Asia.

Apple introduced the new MacBook Air at this year’s Worldwide Developer Conference. Powered by the M2 chip, it will be available in July.
