Weebly, a global website and eCommerce service, has announced that it will integrate Apple Pay into the mobile checkout flow of Weebly online stores.
With more than 40 percent of all Weebly online store transactions happening on mobile or tablet, Apple customers will now experience an effortless mobile checkout flow across eligible Weebly eCommerce sites, says David Rusenko, founder and CEO of Weebly. The integration will support digital small business owners with the most up-to-ddate transactional technology, he adds.
Qualified Weebly merchants and shoppers will begin to experience the Apple Pay integration in phases beginning today, and fully within the next few weeks. To be eligible, merchants need to be connected to the Stripe payment gateway and customers must have Apple Pay set up on their device.
Apple Pay is currently available in 15 countries: Australia, Canada, China, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, the UK and U.S.
