iOS 10.0.3 has been released today for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Some users had been experiencing a loss of cellular connectivity on the two newest iPhones, and this update includes a bug fix for that issue.
The majority of issues appeared to happen with Verizon’s network, with users complaining of incoming calls with weak audio. T-Mobile customers also had issues with cell network connectivity at the launch of iOS 10, with the carrier even recommending to customers that they wait to upgrade.
We expect iOS 10.1 to ship soon; it’s currently in beta testing and adds Portrait Mode for iPhone 7 Plus owners, changes to Messages, and other improvements to built-in apps.
Apple also sent out an update today to users of the Classroom app, fixing an issue that prevented Classroom from discovering nearby student devices.
