Titanium Band for the Apple Watch is durable and handsome — but its wrist adjustability feature is tricky

WITHit‘s US$145 Titanium Band is a handsome, comfortable band for the Apple Watch that’s “made for men who work hard and expect the tools they use to do the same.” There’s a lot to like about the band, but it has one major downside.

But first, let’s look at the high points of the Titanium Band. It’s made from grade 2 titanium that matches the Ultra and Ultra 2 Apple Watches. It also boasts hypoallergenic properties and a diamond-like Carbon (DLC) protective coating that safeguards your watch straps. This coating makes the band impressively durable and helps prevent scratching and wear.

However, there’s an attribute of the Titanium Band that I didn’t like.

The folks at WITHit say it’s engineered with easily removable links that require zero tools so provides personalized comfort. However, I found it a pain to remove the links to make the Titanium Band fit my skinny wrists. I did it, but it involved an irritating process. Plus, the locking pins don’t engage as securely as I’d like, so the Apple Watch tends to slide around.

That said (or if you don’t mind the struggle), you may be better at adjusting the links on the band. If so, you can use the Titanium Band with 42/44/45mm/Ultra/Ultra 2 Apple Watches.
