Tim Cook named chairman of advisory board of Tsinghua University of Economics and Management

Apple CEO Tim Cook has been named chairman of the advisory board of the Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management (SEM). The news of his appointment was shared in a recap of the 2019 meeting of the board, which is the 20th annual meeting since the committee was established. (The announcement is in Chinese.)

Tsinghua University is a research university in Beijing, and a member of the C9 League of Chinese universities. It’s dedicated to “dedicated to academic excellence, advancing the well-being of Chinese society, and global development.”
