Apple CEO Tim Cook has tweeted that the tech giant is donating millionos masks to heath care professionals in the U.S. and Europe.
He says: “Our teams at Apple have been working to help source supplies for healthcare providers fighting COVID-19. We’re donating millions of masks for health professionals in the US and Europe. To every one of the heroes on the front lines, we thank you.”
Along the sam lines, announced during Saturday’s White House daily briefing, Vice President Mike Pence told the media that Apple had pledged to donate two million industrial face masks, which will be provided to healthcare workers in areas hardest hit by the coronavirus. The VP asked other companies to provide other donations of medical supplies, as well as those of smaller business and individuals who may have supplies on hand.
