tado° debuts HomeKit compatible V3+ Smart Thermostats

tado°, which specializes in home climate management, launched its V3+ product generation, including the tado° Smart Thermostats, at at IFA Berlin, a trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances. today.

The products are compatible with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, and the Google Assistant. HomeKit is is a framework that allows control of compatible home automation devices through iOS and Siri.

An accompanying Air Comfort Skill app provides insights into your home’s air climate, provides advice on how to achieve more comfort, and offers tips on preventing health risks such as mold. tado° users who wish more assistance in managing their climate at home can use the app to purchase boiler repair services, to schedule an annual maintenance, to get a quote on a new boiler, or to subscribe to the Auto-Assist Skill which further automates your smart home for £2.99 per month or for £24.99 annually. 

The V3+ Smart Thermostat Starter Kit retails for £199.99, while the Smart Radiator Thermostat Starter Kit now comes with one Smart Radiator Thermostat and is priced at £119.99. Further heating products are available in single or multi packs to enable individual room control. The V3+ product suite is available at Amazon and other major retailers as well as from tado.com.
