Synology updates its DSM data management operating system to version 7.0

Synology has released DSM 7.0, the latest version of the data management operating system that powers over eight million NAS/SAN solutions.

The upgrade includes features focused on making the platform more flexible and capable, including integrating cloud-powered capabilities. Synology says it’s simplifying routine IT tasks and giving system administrators more control, visibility, and powerful management features into their Synology servers.

DSM 7.0 is available for Synology J, Value, and Plus series devices. Updates for all product series will be rolled out in the upcoming months.
