The largest Swiss Bank, UBS, says Apple Pay is “coming soon.” As noted by 9to5Mac, UBS announced the news in a tweet and Facebook post, neither of which gives any further information.
The bank has long been a holdout in supporting Apple’s mobile payment service. Apple Pay first launched in Switzerland in July 2016 with support for MasterCard and Visa cards issued by Bonus Card, Cornèr Bank, and Swiss Bankers.
