A survey by the Bernstein broker firm has found that demand for the iPhone X will be “substantial, but not exceptional.” Forty-eight percent of respondents said they are “excited” for the upcoming smartphone.
Three percent of respondents said they wouldn’t get another iPhone as their next phone. Bernstein says the result shows that purchase intent sits far lower than the excitement around the premium iPhone. The survey included 1,112 iPhone owners located in the U.S., UK, and China.
Ordering for the next gen Apple smartphone will start on Oct. 27, and they’ll ship Nov. 3 (though demand will almost certainly surpass the supply). The iPhone X will come in 64GB and 256GB models with pricing starting at $999.
