The iPad Pro is shaping up to be a hit in Japan. Five percent of Japanese consumers say they plan to buy Apple’s super-sized tablet, according to a new survey by Mobile Marketing Data Lab (as noted by BrightWire.com, a global investment newswire).
When initially asked whether they’re interested in a possible November release of the iPad Pro, 23.9 percent of 2,203 respondents said yes in the survey, which was conducted between Oct. 30 and Nov. 1. Sixty-two percent of respondents who plan to buy the iPad Pro said they like its design, and forty-nine percent said they like the larger display.
The iPad Pro will reportedly go on sale Nov. 11, although this hasn’t been confirmed by Apple. Pricing starts at $799 for the 32GB with Wi-Fi model and $1,079 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular 128GB model. The iPad Pro comes in three metallic finishes including silver, gold and space gray.
