DigiTimes says some Apple suppliers are poised to benefit from new or increased orders from the tech giant to help produce next-generation iPad, MacBook, and Apple Watch models this year. The article than says that new versions of the devices will debut starting in March.
Let the Sellers Research Group (that’s me) clarify. Based on my crystal ball, we’ll indeed see new 12-inch MacBooks in March. There’s also a chance we’ll see updated iPads at that point in time. At least a rev of the 9.7-inch “non-pro” version. Updated iPad Pros might now launch until May or even June.
However, don’t expect new MacBook Pros and new iMacs to be announced until this summer’s Worldwide Developer Conference. The next generation of iPhones will arrive, as usual, in the fall (probably September), along with the Apple Watch Series 4.
