Rumor: Apple will launch a foldable iPhone with Apple Pencil support in 2023

Apple has been granted (or filed for) multiple patents involving a “foldable” iPhone. I’ve been dubious that we’d see such a device, but I could be wrong.

As noted by iPhoneinCanada, Chinese analyst firm EqualOceanhas reported that Apple’s first foldable smartphone may add Apple Pencil support. Additionally, the firm claims that the foldable iPhone will feature a 7.3 to 7.6-inch OLED display and may launch in 2023.

However, as iPhoneinCanada notes, EqualOcean “is not commonly known for its leaked information so its latest report may be taken with a grain of salt.”
