In his new video on his YouTube channel Front Page Tech, Jon Prosser shares info from Apple leaker, “ShrimpApplePro,” that says the Apple Watch Series 8 may feature a flat front glass display originally rumored for the Apple Watch Series 7.
That was rumored to be a redesign with flat edges (much like the iPhone 12/13 and iPad Pro and Air ranges). If/when this happens, it will mark the biggest design change since the Apple Watch was first released in 2015. The Apple Watch Series 8 is also expected to be more resistant to scratches and dings.
The next rev of the smartwatch is expected to come in the same size as the Series 7 and include more health management features. Look for an updated Apple Watch SE and an “extreme sports” version.
