Rumor: Apple to bundle AirPods with 2020 iPhones

According to DigiTimes. Apple is considering bundling AirPods with 2020 iPhones. The article, quoting unnamed “industry sources,” adds that “smartphone vendors including Apple, Samsung, and Xiaomi are looking to bundle their new models with TWS earbuds next year.”

Chances the rumor is true, according to the Sellers Research Group (that’s me): 40%. Apple makes a boatload of money off its AirPods line. I can’t see the tech giant giving them away for free UNLESS the company thinks if customers love the AirPods, they’ll spring for AirPods Pro.
