Apple will announce new iPhones and the Apple Watch Series 3 on Tuesday, Sept. 12, according to Mac4Ever — as noted by 9to5Mac.
Apple has reportedly told carriers to expect the event on that day. The Sellers Research Firm (that’s me) thinks there’s a 80% chance the rumor is true. We’ll know for sure if press invitations are sent out next week.
If they’re not, I expect the event to be held on Tuesday, Sept. 26. I expect pre-orders for the new phones to start the Friday after the special event (whenever it’s held), though supplies — especially for the “iPhone 8” — will be (as usual) constrained. I predict the new Apple Watches will be available immediately after their announcement.
