Plugable launches USB-C Dual 4K HDMI Adapter

Plugable has launched a USB-C Dual 4K HDMI Adapter (USBC-MSTH2) designed for business travelers and home office users.

The company says its first video adapter built on MST technology, the USBC-MSTH2 combines high performance and quality construction in an easy-to-set-up, driverless solution to extend dual 4K 60Hz displays.

The USB-C Dual 4K HDMI MST Display Adapter will purportedly work at peak performance on any Windows or Chromebook computer that supports DP 1.4 and has a USB-C, Thunderbolt 3 / 4, or USB4 port. Computers that only support DP 1.2 can enjoy all the same benefits but at a resolution of 1080p 60Hz across both displays. The adapter also works with Mac computers, however due to a lack of MST functionality in macOS, it only allows for one additional extended display. The second display will be mirrored.

The USBC-MSTH2 is available now on Amazon for US$39.95 with a $2 off coupon. For business purchases, see all Channel buying options here
