Paley Center’s Ted Lasso Season 3 event cancelled ‘due to unforeseen circumstances’

The season three (and perhaps series) finale of “Ted Lasso” delivered record streaming numbers for Apple TV+.

The Paley Center’s Ted Lasso Season 3 event that was to be held on Tuesday in Los Angeles has been cancelled “due to unforeseen circumstances,” reports Deadline.

All ticket buyers will automatically be issued a full refund. A note from event organizers shared no further details regarding the sudden cancellation. However, as Deadline notes, the Ted Lasso celebration is one of a slew of events not moving forward amid the ongoing writers strike.

The third season of Ted Lasso MAY be its last. However, Jason Sudeikis, star, executive producer and co-creator of the hit show, might consider continuing the show to a fourth season after all — or consider spinoffs.
