OWC’s free Dock Ejector app is a great utility for Apple’s new 16-inch MacBook Pro (and other Mac laptops)— IF you have a drive made by the company. It allows users to safely disconnect from all OWC docks with one click.
The tool ejects all drives connected to any OWC dock with a single click. This eliminates the hassle of having to un-dock connected devices one at at time. I’ve found it convenient when moving my MB Pro from “desktop mode” to “portable mode.”
By ensuring all data has been written before any disk is unmounted, users can safely eject their OWC dock without stressing over losing or fragmenting files, the company says. Dock Ejector is compatible with Mac and Windows systems. However, I really wished it worked with non-OWC drives. Does anyone know of a macOS utility that will eject all drives?
