On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they deserve mention. Here are today’s picks.
Unmarked Software has released TextSoap 9.0, an upgrade to their macOS productivity text tool.
The utility “automates away the tedious manual text processing with user-created workflows, and pre-defined cleaners.” Version 9.0 brings support for Apple’s M.x processors, enhancements to workflow actions and a new editor interface that embraces the modern macOS feel.
TextSoap 9 requires macOS 10.13 or higher. For a limited time, TextSoap 9 is available for an introductory price of US$45 after which regular pricing for new customers starts at $50. Discounted upgrades for existing customers start at $30. Family Packs are also available through the product website.
PDF Expert, Readdle’s PDF editor, will add support for SharePlay on iOS 15.1. The tool allows you to share and collaborate on PDFs via FaceTime.
The SharePlay support will come to PDF Expert later this fall. This feature will be free to all users. PDF Expert is a free download, but does offer in-app purchases.
