On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they’re popular and deserve mention. Here’s today’s pick.
Electronic Team has updated Commander One, its Finder alternative; file manager for macOS, to version 3.0.
It adds: support for the macOS Big Sur; compatibility with macFUSE 4; and an option to use path-style addressing to access S3 connections. Commander One 3.0 improves overall performance and stability and works with Google Drive, Dropbox, pCloud, and Amazon S3. It also fixes various issues.
Commander One 3.0 can be downloaded for free. However, you can upgrade to the Pro version for US$29.95, which allows you to: quit processes; mount iOS devices; has a Terminal Emulator; restart as root; ignore system settings for F1-F12; and eject local drives.
