Notable apps and app updates for April 26, 2018

On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they’re popular and deserve mention. Here are today’s picks.

iOS Apps/Updates

Rasterzone Entertainment has launched Harry and Larry 1.05. It’s a $3.99 cartoon action game in which you guide Harry and Larry through 24 obstacle-filled levels at their local grocery store. Players dodge obstacles such as tires, crates, snowballs, and many other hazards, as they collect tasty treats. Acquire temporary powers that will help complete each level along the way. 

macOS Apps/Updates

Econ Technologies has announced ChronoAgent 1.8.1, a maintenance update to their Mac multipurpose app for local and cloud backup, bootable clone, and folder synchronizing. 

The ChronoSync/ChronoAgent combination allows you to synchronize files between  two Macs, back up Macs to a Mac server, or even maintain a bootable backup over a network. Version 1.8.1 focuses on reliability and improved messaging and logging.

Owners of ChronoAgent can start using version 1.8.1 today with a simple download and update. If you don’t already own ChronoAgent, a demo is available for download.The ChronoSync/ChronoAgent combination allows you to synchronize files between  two Macs, back up Macs to a Mac server, or even maintain a bootable backup over a network. ChronoAgent 1.8.1 works on macOS 10.8 or newer and is available for $14.99.
