Next version of the AirPods Max likely to get a USB-C port later this year (but few other new features)

In his latest “Power On” newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says the next version the AirPods Max to get a USB-C port later this year, but doesn’t expect any other major new features

However, an April MacRumors report speculated that thinks that new features could include: customizability with interchangeable headbands and earcups; automatic left and right ear detection; touch pads on the earfuls for audio control; H2 processors; better noise cancellation; improved battery life; MagSafe charging; and a lower-pried, sports-oriented model.

This info from Gurman is from the free edition of “Power On”. If you like it, consider subscribing to Bloomberg.com—you’ll receive the newsletter earlier and get exclusive access to a Q&A section.
