News round-up: Porsche teaming up with Apple Music (and more)

Since Steve and I can’t cover everything, we’ll frequently offer a wrap-up of news items you should check out.

Porsche has teamed up with Apple Music to create the first fully integrated music streaming experience inside the much-anticipated Porsche Taycan, the first fully electric Porsche vehicle launching in September. Details can be found here.

Apple has purportedly seen some high-profile departures in recent months from its health team. Sources told CNBC that tension is rising internally on Apple’s health unit, which is prompting employees to look for roles outside of the company in companies ranging from Anthem to Google. 

The state attorneys in more than a dozen states are preparing to begin an antitrust investigation of the tech giants, the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times reported Monday, putting the spotlight on an industry that is already facing federal scrutiny.

According to AppleInsider, hackers have released a publicly available jailbreak for iPhones running up-to-date software after Apple mistakenly unpatched a critical vulnerability in its most current iOS release. 

Danske Bank, the largest bank in Denmark, has announced it now offers Apple Pay

Apple Music will be available to stream on German Echo devices via Alexa from today, says tech blog ifun.de

LG Innotek started the production of camera modules that will go into new iPhone. Apple is the biggest customer for LG Innotek as it is responsible for large percentage of LG Innotek’s sales, according to ETNews.

Apple has added 13 and 15-inch 2019 MacBook Pros to its online store for refurbished products in the U.S.

According to MacRumors, Apple may videos to be downloaded from its upcoming AppleTV+ steaming service for offline viewing, but with limitations on the total number of downloads, downloads per show or movie, or the total number of times a show or movie can be downloaded.
