News round-up: ‘Behind the Mac,’ ‘iPhone SE 2,’ more

Apple has posted a new video in its “Behind the Mac” series. It highlighs women who are “changing the world” using the Mac. 

Apple has warned technical support staff at its retail stores that replacement iPhones are in short supply, reports Bloomberg

DigiTimes says Apple’s rumored low-cost smartphone (perhaps to be dubbed the “iPhone SE 2″ or the “iPhone 9″) is said to be entering the final production stages and should be available soon.

AppleInsider notes that owners of iPods who receive replacement iPod devices from Apple repair processes will no longer receive devices bearing engraving, with only non-engraved models being dispatched to customers without any re-application of personalized messages.

Two men killed during a police chase in Melbourne’s north were being tracked from the air via the “Find My” app after an iPad was stolen in an earlier home invasion, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
