News round-up: Apple Entrepreneur Camp celebrates first year (and more)

Since Steve and I can’t cover everything, we’ll frequently offer a wrap-up of news items you should check out. 

Apple has posted an article on its Newsroom site that tells how Apple Entrepreneur Camp, now in its fourth year, has provided experiences to 100 “innovators.”

Apple TV+ launches on Nov. 1. Bloomberg Businessweek looks into Apple’s foray into original content in a feature titled “The One Where Apple Tried to Buy Its Way Into Hollywood.”

As noted by MacRumors, Selena Gomez has released a new song and video entitled “Lose You to Love Me,” and the entire video was shot in black and white using an iPhone 11 Pro. 

As noted by AppleInsider, Apple TV+ in conjunction with a 5G iPhone will help accelerate Apple’s Services growth to 20% in 2020, with Katy Huberty of Morgan Stanley raising the price target for the iPhone maker to $289.

According to Reuters, Apple will continue to assist Japan Display by shortening payment periods as the panel supplier seeks to stabilize its finances. Japan Display, which depends on Apple for around 60% of its revenue, has lost money for the last five years and its liabilities now exceed its assets.
