Since I can’t cover everything, here are some recommended articles from some other sources.

Since I can’t cover everything, I like to offer a daily round-up of must-read articles from some other great websites.

° From The Information: The bond market’s historic sell-off this year, in response to rising interest rates, has been disastrous for retirees dependent on bonds for income. It’s been almost as bad for Apple, Microsoft and Alphabet, wiping out billions of dollars from the mountains of cash they’re sitting on.

° From MacRumors: Apple has delayed a new feature that will provide Apple Card users with the option to have their Daily Cash earnings deposited into a high-yield savings account.

° From 9to5Mac: A memoir by Irish singer-songwriter Bono reveals the story behind the free U2 album debacle, which saw both Apple and the band become the butt of jokes on social media, as well as the subject of considerable anger toward both parties.

° From AppleInsider: Apple CEO Tim Cook made an unexpected appearance at the U.S. Grand Prix on Sunday, waving the checkered flag at the finishing line in an unusually slow manner.

° From the Apple Developer site: Apple has posted an article about the Clean Energy Charging feature of iOS 16.1.

° From MacVoices Live!: The first MacVoices Holiday Gift Guide for 2022 finishes off as Jeff Gamet, Brett Terpstra, and Andrew Orr pick books, hardware, something to improve your mental health, and more. (Part 2)
