Since I can’t cover everything, I’ll often direct your attention to articles of interest. To wit:

° From MacRumors: Apple has added the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 2 to its vintage and obsolete products list, as it has been more than five years since the devices were last offered for sale.

° From DigiTimes: Quanta Computer’s plant in Shanghai, China is gradually resuming its production of Apple’s MacBook products with order pull-ins also slowly turning strong, according to sources from the upstream supply chain.

 ° From AppleInsider: Apple’s App Store revenue saw a jump in the month of April, and investment bank Morgan Stanley says it’s starting to see “green shoots” emerging for the important product segment.

° From 9to5Mac: Apple has started selling refurbished models of the Apple Watch Series 7 in its online store.

° From the Financial Times (a subscription is required to read the enarticle): The British government’s new legislative agenda, due to be set out in the Queen’s Speech next week, will not include a bill to empower the Digital Markets Unit (DMU). 

° From CNBC: Warren Buffett, Berkshire Hathaway’s chairman and CEO, says he scooped up $600 million worth of Apple shares following a three-day decline in the stock last quarter.

° From The Washington Post: Employees at at the Apple retail store in Maryland’s Towsen Mall have launched a drive to unionize.

° From Bloomberg: PayPal Holdings helped spur a format antitrust complaint against Apple and its iPhone payments system by raising concerns with the European Union. 

° From iMore: Beats by Dre has announced the continuation of the HBCU Beats Black Creators Program for 2022.

° From MacVoices Live!: Other World Computing founder Larry O’Connor catches us up on how OWC covers the entire production process, from ingest to editing to storage.
