° From the Finger Lake Times: When Apple wanted to clear a large homeless encampment from its property last year, the tech giant didn’t just sweep everyone off the site — it spent millions of dollars to give dozens of people a nine-month motel stay and help them find housing. It’s helped some, but not all.

° From 9to5Mac: Apple is giving AirPods Pros to Swift Challenge winners, along with WWDC22 outerwear and a pin set.

° From MacRumors: is now available directly within Google-owned Waze, offering Waze users easier and safer access to enjoy the ‌Apple Music‌ catalog as they commute from within the Waze app on iOS.

° From The Mac Observer: F1 Driver Sebastian Vettel used the Find My app to track down his AirPods inside his backpack after it was stolen by thieves.

° From Apple Newsroom: In celebration of Pride month this June, Apple is releasing two new Pride Edition bands with dynamic Pride watch faces.

° From MacVoices Live!: On the day “After Steve,” a book by Tripp Mickle, was released,  the MacVoices Live! panel of David Ginsburg, Warren Sklar, Jeff Gamet, host Chuck Joiner, Jim Rea, and Guy Serle discussed some of the excerpts that were published online. Initial impressions from those excerpts led to a debate about from over function, and the effect Jony Ive’s departure may or may not be having on Apple’s latest products. (Part 1)
