News items you should check out: March 8

Since I can’t cover everything, I like to offer a daily roundup of must-read articles from some other great websites:

° From MacRumors: Alongside the new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus in Yellow, Apple today announced that the Emergency SOS via Satellite feature will be available in Austria, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Portugal later this month.

° From AppleInsider: Apple is officially launching Apple Pay in South Korea after months of regulatory review from the country’s financial regulator.

° From iMore: The third season of the Apple TV Plus hit Ted Lasso hits screens on March 15 and there is a new range of merch to celebrate.

° From MacVoices Live!: On the new episode, this MacVoices Live! panel (finally) wraps up their App Store debate, then turn to a series of stories. (Part 3)
