° New MacBooks and AirPods are still on course for launch later this year, according to the Taiwanese website Economic Daily News.

° Apple has released the fourth developer betas of macOS 11.5, iOS 14.7, iPadOS 14.7, tvOS 14.7, and watch OS 7.6. Registered developers can download the betas via Apple’s developer portal. 

° AppleInsider notes that a number of major artists and stars in the UK, including Oscar winner Olivia Colman, have called for a tax to be placed against devices like the iPhone to raise millions of pounds to help fund artists.

° As noted by MacRumors: More dummy models of the upcoming iPhone 13 have been shared online, this time by leaker DuanRui, indicating the new diagonal dual-camera layout on the standard-size ‌iPhone 13‌ and the slightly smaller notch on the front of the ‌iPhone 13‌ series.

° Apple is reportedly giving employees police body cams to try and stop them from leaking information. The cameras aren’t being given to everyone — only specific teams.

° A father was forced to sell his family car after his seven-year-old son unwittingly ran up a bill of nearly £1,300 while playing a game on his iPhone, according to a Daily Mail report.

° The Silicon Valley Mac User Group invited MacVoices to record a live show at their June 2021 meeting. On the new episode of MacVoices Live!, host Chuck Joiner, Jeff Gamet, and developer Jim Rea start with their opinions of what the most important announcements at WWDC were, and why. (Part 1)
