Since I can’t cover everything, I’ll often direct your attention to articles from various other sources worth your time.

° Apple has issued the warning in a support document that AirTag users shouldn’t use  batteries that are coated in bitterant used by some manufacturers.

° From MacRumors: Apple is preparing to occupy 200,000 square feet of temporary space ahead of a new $1 billion campus in North Carolina.

° From Bloomberg: More than 90 CEOs, including Apple’s Tim Cook, have signed onto a letter urging Congress to guarantee a path to citizenship for “Dreamers.”

° From MyHealthyApple: Apple is currently looking to onboard a Regulatory Project Manager to assist with introducing new Class II medical device. The new job was posted on Apple’s career site last week.

° From AppleInsider: Online retailer and auction site eBay has rolled out support for Apple Pay on its desktop website.

° From BBC News: The number of self-isolation alerts sent by the NHS Covid-19 app (which is iOS compatible) in England and Wales has risen to a new record of 689,313 in the week up to 21 July.

° The MacVoices Live! discussion of Apple’s quarterly financial results continues with a look at the subscription revenue numbers, their implications, and how they are (or are not) calculated. The MacVoices panel then examine how the Apple Watch’s health monitoring capabilities are being used, what it can and can’t do (at least right now), and where that fits in the strategy going forward. The panel of Jay Miller, Frank Petrie, Dave Ginsburg, Mike Schmitz, Jim Rea, and Mark Fuccio join host Chuck Joiner to offer their thoughts and some personal experiences. (Part 2)
