° From MacRumors: Apple last year agreed to pay $35 million to settle a U.S. class action lawsuit alleging that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were prone to audio issues due to a defective chip in the devices, and it has now started notifying eligible customers by email.

° From 9to5Mac: Apple trade-in prices have been cut across a wide range of products. The reduction in trade-in values for 2022 iPhones ranges from $20 to $50.

° From AppleInsider: TD Cowen says Apple has cut its iPhone orders as all smartphone manufacturers face lower demand in China for the first calendar quarter of 2024, but it’s ignoring Apple’s typical January adjustments.

° From Bloomberg: Apple may face a US antitrust lawsuit as soon as March.

° From Macworld: If you use Google Chrome on your Mac, you should update the browser now.

° From CBC: Thanks to Apple AirTags a Toronto man tracks down his stolen vehicle.
