News items you should check out: Feb. 8

Since I can’t cover everything, I like to offer a daily roundup of must-read articles from some other great websites:

° From MacRumors: Apple has redesigned its website on both desktop and mobile devices. The changes make it easier to find individual product pages and other helpful links.

° From AppleInsider: Apple has formally responded by proposals from the UK Competition and Markets Authority to make it easier for cloud gaming services to run on iOS, as it risks “disproportionately impacting Apple’s ecosystem.”

° From TechCrunch: In an interview, senior Apple execs talk to TC about roadmaps and their hopes for Apple Silicon.

°  From The Register: Mozilla is planning for the day when Apple will no longer require its competitors to use the WebKit browser engine in iOS.

° From MacVoices Live!: In a catch-up edition of MacVoices Live! recorded in the week after CES, the panel of Chuck Joiner, David Ginsburg, Norbert Frassa, Guy Serle, Jim Rea, Jeff Gamet, Brittany Smith and Mark Fuccio relate some travel stories and expo impressions. Trends, eye-catching products and more are included in the discussion. (Part 1)
