Since Steve and I can’t cover everything, occasionally we’ll direct your attention to articles from various other sources worth your time.

° Apple has posted a new commercial on its homepage (near the bottom) that shows high school graduates opening their college acceptance letters on Mac.

° Following the announcement of Apple’s April 20 event, the company has added a new hashflag to Twitter. When you tweet the hashtag #AppleEvent, Twitter will display a mini version of the rainbow curly Apple logo depicted in the event’s invitation.

° Apple is calling for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to start requiring companies to disclose emissions information. Arvin Ganesan, Apple’s chief of energy and environmental policy, tweets that the company believes the SEC should issue rules mandating public disclosure of wide-ranging and third-party-audited emissions information.

° An image posted on Twitter this morning allegedly shows Apple’s as-yet unreleased spring color options for iPhone 12 cases.

° MySmartPrice claims to have obtained 3D renders of the standard iPhone 13 model.

° In a note to clients — as noted by AppleInsider — investment bank JP Morgan’s lead analyst Samik Chatterjee says he thinks that several proposed tax rate changes could “almost completely” reverse the benefits of prior tax reductions for Apple.

° The second part of a MacVoices Live! discussion about “45 ways Apple put a ding in the universe” is now available. The panel of David Ginsburg, Kelly Guimont, Guy Serle , Jim Rea, Jay Miller, Frank Petrie and Brittany Smith join host Chuck Joiner to hit the topics of health, the mouse, Apple Pay, USB, mobile computing needs and wants. weigh in.
