NetMarketShare: macOS and iOS market share both dip slightly in March

According to the latest market share survey from NetMarketShare, the market share for both Apple’s macOS and iOS dipped slightly last month.

In March macOS had 9.33% of the desktop/laptop market compared to 9.42% in February. Windows remains dominate with 88.29%.

In March, iOS had 29.14% f the mobile operating market, compared to 29.16% in February. Android remains dominate with 70.29% of the market.

NetMarketShares’ monthly surveys don’t measure market share in terms of computer systems sold. Instead they sample data from visitors to some 40,000 web sites operated by their clients. And note that NetMarketShare’s numbers don’t equate to sales.
