As a person who used to test a lot of smartphones back in the late 1990s and early 2000s prior to the launch of the iPhone, I’m a huge fan of the videos that Niles Mitchell has been creating. He takes old tech and gets it working with our state-of-the-art technology. In this video, he sends files to and from a Sony Ericsson P1i Symbian Smartphone using an iPhone, and also sends photos from the P1i to an iPod Photo!
What Mitchell’s experiments show us is that much of our new technology still supports the tried and true file formats and transfer protocols that have been around for twenty or more years. If you find these videos to be as much fun as I do, subscribe to the Will It Work? YouTube channel.
