It’s official. Apple today sent out invitations to media (unfortunately, we were left out again…) for a September 12, 2017 press event. Apple’s expected to introduce the iPhone 8 — or whatever it will be called — and a host of new products across the board.
The event will be the first held at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park, and recent drone videos have shown the above-ground portion of the theater to be essentially finished. It’ll be fascinating to see the new theater, which is where we expect all future product announcement keynotes (except for those made during the Worldwide Developers Conference) to be held.
We’ll publish a full preview of what to expect at the event in the next few days.
