As noted by MacRumors, macOS Sierra 10.12.1 includes hidden Apple Pay images that depict a MacBook Pro with an OLED touch panel that will debut at Apple’s “hello, again” media event on Thursday, Oct. 27.
The images confirm the “Magic Toolbar” — an OLED touch bar that will will dynamically change its appearance and present virtual buttons to users based on the app or task at hand. In the images, Apple Pay dialog is depicted, asking a customer to confirm a purchase with a finger on the panel. Apparently, Touch ID is built directly into the OLED panel and no dedicated Touch ID button is included.
