Lola: New Blue Mic headphones with nothing to hide

Blue Mic is well-known for its amazing line of digital and analog microphones, and last year the company brought its acoustics expertise to Mo-Fi, amazing US$350 headphones with built-in amplification and top-quality sound reproduction. Today the company introduced a new headphone, Lola (US$249.99), which brings big custom drivers and the Mo-Fi headband to a non-amplified product.

The four-point multi-jointed linkage system and pivoting arms make the headphone one of the most comfortable on the market. Of course, the big thing with headphones is how well they reproduce sound, and Lola will use the same 50mm drivers as Mo-Fi. Lola will ship with two cables — a 3-meter audio cable as well as a 1.5-meter cable with a built-in mic and controls for your iPhone or iPad.

Lola will be available in charcoal black and pearl white starting in November at a number of retailers including Amazon, Best Buy Online and Guitar Center. Apple World Today will have a full review of the Lola headphones soon.
