JNUC: update provided on the Apple@SAP program

In the Day 2 Keynote (“Jamf at Work”) at the 10th annual Jamf Nation User Conference (JNUC) SAP’s vice president of IT Services, Martin Lang, came on stage to provide an update on the Apple@SAP program. SAP and Apple work together to help businesses build applications that use Apple’s machine learning and augmented reality (AR) technologies.

At JNUC 2018, Lang revealed that SAP had chosen Jamf Pro to manage all of its Apple devices – 17,000 Macs, 83,000 iOS devices, and 170 Apple TVs – as one ecosystem, in order to create a native and integrated IT and user experience.

One year later, SAP now uses Jamf Pro to manage more than 24,000 Macs, 16,000 iPads, 67,000 iPhones and 230 Apple TVs. After seeing a 31% increase in the number of Mac computers at SAP in 2018 alone, the company is aiming to reach 30,000 Macs by the end of 2020, according to Lang.

For more details, Jamf’s new case study on SAP is now available here.
