Jason Sudeikis nominated for ‘Best Comedic Performance’ in MTV Awards

MTV has unveiled the nominees for its live MTV Movie & TV Awards ceremony on Sunday, May 16, reports Deadline. And Jason Sudeikis, the star of Apple TV’s “Ted Lasso,” is nominated for “Best Comedic Performance.”

He has previously won the “Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor” at the 2021 Screen Actors Guild Awards.  “Ted Lasso” stars Sudeikis as Ted Lasso, a small-time college football coach from Kansas hired to coach a professional soccer team in England, despite having no experience coaching soccer. Waddingham, Brendan Hunt, Jeremy Swift, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Phil Dunster and Nick Mohammed star alongside Sudeikis in the ensemble cast.
