iTunes Connect users getting an erroneous email asking for a banking info update

If you’re an iTunes Connect user, you may have gotten an erroneous email from Apple saying their banking info needs to be updated. Not sure what happened, but the email is wrong.

Apple has sent a follow-up email saying to ignore the previous email and that it “was sent in error and we apologize.”

iTunes Connect is an Apple service that producers can use to distribute music, podcasts, movies, and TV programs to customers on the iTunes Store and ebooks to customers on the Apple Books Store.
