iPadOS 15: how to make new apps appear on your Home Screen (or not)

iPadOS 15 offers new ways to find and organize the apps on your iPad. For instance, you can change where newly downloaded apps appear on your iPad, and show or hide the notifications that you see in the App Library.

Here’s how:

° Go to Settings > Home Screen & Dock. From here you can customize the settings. You can choose to user large app icons, add new apps to the Apple Library or the Home Screen only.

(This how-to is based on my experiences and info on Apple’s support pages — where the images sometimes come from.)
