iOS 11 already installed on 10.01% of compatible devices

iOS 11 is installed on 10.01% of compatible devices 24 hours after launch, according to data from Mixpanel (as noted by MacRumors.com). Sounds good, but the analytics company says it’s seeing slower adoption rates than iOS 10 saw during the same adoption period in 2016.

iOS 10 is now installed on 84.55% of devices, while 5.44% of users continue to run an older version of iOS, according to Mixpanel. iOS 11 is a free download and runs on the iPhone 5s and later, the iPad mini 2 and later, and the sixth generation iPod touch.
