Just as I want (but don’t expect to see) a 27-inch (or bigger) iMac in different colors a la the 24-inch iMac, I also want to have color choices for the next iPad Pro beyond space grey and silver.
The iPad Air is available in space grey, silver, green, rose gold, and sky blue “flavors.” The iPad Mini comes in space grey, purple, pink, and starlight versions.
Why does Apple seem convinced that its “pro” products (with the exception of the iPhone) should only come in “serious” hues? Does the company think that folks who want serious power in their Apple products also don’t want them to be fun and vibrant like its consumer line-up?
I expect to see a bigger iMac and a new iPad Pro in March or April. We’ll see if Apple is going to offer them in fun, fanciful colors.
