How to translate text in photos on your iPhone

You can translate text in photos such as Photos, Safari, Messages, Mail, supported third-party apps, and more.

When you view a photo with text, tap the photo, select the text to translate, then tap Translate. (This feature only works on supported models of iPhones.)

(This how-to is based on my experiences and info on Apple’s support pages — where the images sometimes come from.)
