How to track orders and purchases in Apple Wallet

AfterShip, a customer experience platform for eCommerce, has enabled Apple Wallet Order Tracking to allow users to receive real-time delivery updates and track online orders through Apple Wallet.

This week’s iOS 16.4 update enhances the built-in order tracking function that’s available in the Wallet app for purchases made using Apple Pay.

When you make a purchase using Apple Pay from a participating app or website on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, you can track your order in the Wallet app on your iPhone.

To use Order Tracking in the Wallet app, you need:

  • An iPhone with the latest version of iOS
  • An Apple ID signed in to your iPhone

To track orders that you made using Apple Pay on your iPad or Mac, you need to have the latest version of iPadOS or macOS and be signed in to your devices with the same Apple ID.

How to track orders in Apple Wallet

When you make purchases using Apple Pay on the web or in an app from a participating merchant, you can use Order Tracking in the Wallet app to view:

  • Order status, an estimated arrival time, or if there are any issues with your order
  • Your order number, purchase total, and the status of your payment

You can also contact the merchant directly from the Wallet app.
